McDONNELL F-101B

The F-101B was a missile equipped fighter-interceptor designed to destroy Russian nuclear bombers.  Assigned to the Air Defense Command in 1960, it later served with the ANG and retired from the Tactical Air Command in 1982. Both horizontal stabilizer surfaces will be replaced due to corrosion of their magnesium surfaces.  It will appear in the markings of its last assignment with the ANG in Niagara Falls.
