JACOBS R-755

A true barn find, this 7 cylinder radial engine was built in 1943.  It was used in various training aircraft, such as the Stearman PT 18 Kaydet and Cessna AT-17 Bamboo Bomber.   It had the nickname of “Shaky Jake” because of vibrations at low rpm.  It went on display in the museum gallery in April 2015.
